Kari Hooker-Leep lives in Grand Island and is CHAD’s West Central Director. The 2019-2020 Campaign is her 18th campaign.
What did you do before joining CHAD?
I worked in Human Resources.
What is your favorite part about working at CHAD?
The blessing of meeting so many people that have faced life-changing situations and have such positive and uplifting stories and attitudes. I feel that I am given the opportunity each day to positively change and touch lives.
What’s the best thing that has happened to you since you started?
I have made friendships with so many individuals that are strong and inspirational and who have changed my life in an incredible way.
What is one thing about you that might surprise people?
I am a HUGE NASCAR fan. Also, public speaking is one of my fears.
