CHAD (Combined Health Agencies Drive) announced the results of the annual statewide CHAD Campaign at the organization’s annual meeting on Aug. 22. The total raised across the state was $1,740,195. Dollars raised will support more than 20 health charities that are serving all Nebraskans affected by chronic disease, disabilities and end-of-life issues.
Area business and community leaders were elected onto the CHAD State Board of Directors during the meeting. New State Board members include: Ellen DiSalvo, Nebraska Community Blood Bank Rep.; Drew Fossum, Tenaska Inc., Member At-Large; Anisa Hole, Children’s Hospital and Medical Center, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Nebraska Chapter Rep.; Kathy Nellor, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Nebraska, American Lung Association in Nebraska Rep.; Bob Orchard, Flywheel–WordPress Hosting for Creatives, Member At-Large; Vince Pille, Security National Bank, Member At-Large; J. Gregory Porter, Northern Natural Gas Company, Member At-Large; Merv Riepe, Former State Senator, Member At-Large; Maureen Tierney, MD, Dept. of Public Health, Nebraska DHHS, Autism Action Partnership Rep.; Stephanie Vanicek, CPA, Hancock & Dana PC, Member At-Large; and Nizar Wehbi, MD, University of Nebraska Medical Center, Member At-Large.
