Henry’s Story

When Henry was six days old, we got the call. The call that forever changed us. His newborn screen came back as inconclusive for cystic fibrosis. Talk about a scary shock! Cystic fibrosis has become a part of our every day. All the treatments and medicine aren't so overwhelming anymore. Henry has lots of love from his three older sisters; they help him so much! Henry has a very rare gene combination and the doctors aren't quite sure how CF will present itself. So far, Henry has had lots and lots of stomach problems. Specifically, he has suffered from bacterial overgrowth. We think we finally have a handle on all of that! We have so much hope for our son's future! Cystic fibrosis will come far with the help of everyone! We are so incredibly thankful for all the support we receive.
